Representatives of quality assurance services from 40 public and private higher education institutions, including New Higher Education Institution, discussed the challenges and prospects of e-learning. The third working meeting of the Thematic Group on Quality Assurance of Higher Education Institutions, established by the Standing Conference of Rectors, was held through the electronic portal Zoom.
Representatives of higher education institutions shared their experiences with each other and discussed joint ways to solve difficulties. There also occurred the formation of smaller groups for discussing the topic deeply.
The members of the thematic group discussed the necessity of modification of the evaluation system and its relevant regulatory documents. The members of the thematic group discussed the difficulties of implementation of practice and research, the specific difficulties of implementing programs electronically in the field of medicine, art and maritime. They discussed the issues about the protection of personal data during e-learning, about the possibility of cooperation with international experts for the professional development of academic staff and the creation of an internal quality assurance mechanism for e-learning. Before the meeting a questionnaire on e-learning was prepared, which allowed the members of the thematic group to see what situation is there in universities with e-learning.
During the meeting, the results of the questionnaire were shared. After the meeting, the representatives of the thematic groups shared the documents created about e-learning at different universities, they also planned future studies.
