The Ministry of Education and Science of Georgia has a social program for financing students with state education grants, which is determined by the Government of Georgia for each academic year upon the submission of the Ministry.

Resolution N435 of August 27, 2021 determined “the amount and conditions of funding for the state education grant for students in higher education institutions who study in accredited higher education programs based on the results of the Unified National Examinations.”

The government decree provides for a certain category of students: graduates of a school with the status of a highland village; Persons living in the occupied territories; Azerbaijani / Armenian language school graduates; Rural school graduates adjacent to the demarcation line with the occupied territories; Veterans of war in war and severely / significantly disabled veterans or their children for territorial integrity; Orphan (fatherless); Large family (with four or more children); Under state care; Disability; Funding for people with autism spectrum disorder and socially vulnerable (family rating score equal to or less than 70,000) with a state education grant.

In connection with the financing of the program within the mentioned program, applications will be accepted only online from September 10, 2021 to October 1, 18:00 by registering on the portal http://socreg.mes.gov.ge.
