On January 19-22, 2024, a delegation of the administration, professors and students of the New Higher Education Institute – NEWUNI, led by the Rector of NEWUNI, Professor Tamar Gardapkhadze, visited the Uklan University, Larnaca (Cyprus).
Within the framework of the visit, the memorandum of mutual cooperation with the University of Uklan was renewed, negotiations were held with the Erasmus+ service regarding the implementation of a joint project, the prospects of future cooperation, the professor of the Law School of the University of Uklan – Maria Tatsiu was invited and became a member of the editorial board of the scientific journal “Diplomacy and Law” of the New Higher Education Institute – NEWUNI.
During the visit In Larnaca, a training was held for students “Georgia – a candidate country for EU membership: challenges and perspectives”, and a training for professors – “Modern approaches of European higher education”. Students and professors were given certificates.
It is worth noting that in Uklan University, with the full funding of NEWUNI, there were students enrolled in the unified national exams in the 2023-2024 academic year – freshmen.
