On October 2, 2023, a memorandum of cooperation was signed between the New Higher  Education Institute-NEWUNI and the Gerardo Barrios University of the Central American Republic of El Salvador. The memorandum is signed by the Rector of the New Higher Education Institute – NEWUNI, prof. Tamar Gardapkhadze and Jose Salvador Alvarenga Rivera, Rector of the Gerardo Barrios University of El Salvador.

The Slovak Republic announces the National Scholarship Program for the summer semester of the 2023-2024 academic year. Applications can be submitted by students, PhD researchers, as well as university lecturers; Students and PhD researchers can also apply for travel funding.
