Horizon Europe is the European Union’s main funding programme for research and innovation. The programme supports the development and implementation of EU policy in the field of research and innovation, by fostering cooperation between countries, and by creating and disseminating new knowledge and technologies. New Higher Education Institute – NEWUNI has started cooperation with the Horizon Europe National Office of Georgia /Grant Office Coordinator N. Gogolauri/.

Within the framework of the U.S. Embassy in Georgia’s Book Translation Program, funding was provided for the Georgian translation of the 10th edition of the book:
“International Management: Managing Across Borders and Cultures – Text and Cases”
by Helen Deresky, Professor Emerita, State University of New York-Plattsburgh, and Stewart Miller, University of Texas at San Antonio.

On Friday, June 27, at 12:00, Horizon Europe Georgia National Office will organize an online training on budget preparation and reporting issues according to the General Model Grant Agreement (General MGA).

On June 24, 2025, a workshop titled “Preparing a Grant Project for Submission to the Shota Rustaveli National Science Foundation of Georgia” was held for the academic and invited staff of the New Higher Education Institute – NEWUNI.Manuchar Guntzade, Associate Professor at Caucasus University, and Tamaz Gogoladze, Senior Researcher at the Korneli Kekelidze National Centre of Manuscripts and Associate Professor at Caucasus University led the session.

Asmat Shamugia, an associate professor at the Faculty of Business, Law and Social Sciences of the New  Higher Education Institute-NEWUNI, is the winner of the program “Support for Abkhazian Scientists” of the Ministry of Education and Culture of the Autonomous Republic of Abkhazia.

The Minister of Education, Science and Youth of Georgia, Aleksandre Tsuladze, awarded the winners of the first stage of “Studfest 2025” and wished success to the students involved in the second stage.
At the closing event, the Minister spoke with the students about the need to promote a healthy lifestyle and teamwork among young people, and in this regard, he drew attention to the importance of “Studfest”.
