On November 27, 2025, representatives of the professors and administration of the New Higher Education Institute – NEWUNI, visited the University of Applied Sciences in Geneva (Switzerland) with the aim of establishing partnership relations.

NEWUNI is one of the winners of the European Union ERASMUS+ CBHE Capacity Building in Higher Education (ERIC-GE) competition.
The project “Strengthening Research and Innovation Capacities in Georgian Higher Education Institutions” (ERIC-GE) will be implemented over the next two years and will be coordinated by the Institute of Georgian Technical University “Techinformi”. The consortium includes 8 higher education institutions – 6 from Georgia and 2 from Europe. The project has received 355,977 euros in funding over the next two years.
