On June 30, 2020, a meeting was held on the issues of future cooperation between the Ministry of Defense of Georgia and authorized higher education institutions in Georgia.
The meeting was chaired by the Deputy Minister of Defense of Georgia – Mr. Rati Bregadze, who voiced the initiative of the Ministry of Defense – to finance 50% of tuition fees for family members of employees, to appoint scholarships for honors, to hold information meetings with students and others.
Rector of the New Higher Education Institute Tamar Gardapkhadze, within the framework of social responsibility, offered special conditions of co-financing to the family members of the employees of the Ministry of Defense of Georgia (10 students per year) in case of studying at the New Higher Education Institute:
• 100% internal grant for the first academic year;
• Next three academic years – 50% internal grant.
The future cooperation and the signing of a memorandum in the shortest possible time are planned.
