On April 24, 2023, the head of the International Relations Service of the New Higher  Education Institute – NEWUNI, Associate Professor- Nana Tsikhistavi met with the students of the Faculty of Business, Law and Social Sciences.

A scholarship competition is announced for those wishing to study in higher educational institutions of Lithuania. Citizens of Georgia have the opportunity to receive a Lithuanian state scholarship and study for one or two semesters in Lithuanian higher education institutions on bachelor’s, master’s and doctoral programs:

On April 12, at 13:00, there will be an information meeting about the large-scale paid internship project: “Promotion of internship and workplace learning for students”. The project envisages the selection of 150 students and graduates for paid internships in more than 50 companies and in this way promoting their career and professional development.

The state of Slovakia announces scholarship programs for Georgian students for the 2023-2024 academic year. Applications can be submitted by students, doctoral students, as well as university lecturers and researchers. Students and PhD students can apply for travel funding.

In the conference of the Erasmus+ project “Strengthening the quality and relevance of the third mission in Georgian universities” (SQUARE) organized by the Ministry of Education and Science of Georgia had participated the head of the International Relations Service of the New Higher Education Institute-NEWUNI, Prof. Nana Tsikhistavi.

On February 14, 2023, two professors from the partner Romanian-American University (Bucharest): Lavinia Stanica and Daniela Alexandra visited the New Higher Education Institute – NEWUNI, within the framework of the Erasmus+ mobility program, in order to strengthen internationalization and international relations.

The Latvian State Agency for Education Development is offering scholarship programs and summer courses for students, academic staff and researchers for the academic year 2023-2024. Scholarship programs include study programs at various higher educational institutions in Latvia.

The rector of the New Higher Education Institute -NEWUNI, representatives of the administration, professors and students visited the city of Thessaloniki (Greece) on a working visit on February 6-11, 2023. Within the framework of the visit, business relations were established with the University of Macedonia and Aristotle University, it was planned to sign cooperation memorandums and inter-institutional agreements.

The Strategy and International Relations Research Foundation of Georgia (Rondel Foundation) announces admission to a 3-month internship program. The main responsibility of the intern is to participate in the implementation of the Foundation’s projects. The intern is accountable to the project manager and the head of the fund administration.

Internship period: so-called February 20-May 20

The Lane Kirkland scholarship program of the Republic of Poland for the 2023/2024 academic year has been announced, which provides for two semesters of study in one of the four Polish academic centers (Warsaw, Krakow, Wroclaw, Lublin) and at least a two-week professional internship in public, private and non-governmental organizations.
