UN Young Professionals Program (YPP) is an annual employment initiative aimed at selecting and employing outstanding and highly qualified young professionals from around the world at the UN.

The Young Professionals program includes the following stages: application submission, two-stage online exam, and interview. Candidates who successfully pass the application, examination and interview phases will be placed in the relevant UN database, which is valid for three years. The YPP database is used to fill professional vacancies across the UN Secretariat.

The list of participating countries varies from year to year. After 2015, according to the UN decision, this year Georgia will participate in the program again.

Criteria for participation:

Online examinations will be held for citizens of the participating countries who have a bachelor’s degree or at least a 3-year academic degree relevant to the subject of the examination. Applicants must not be over 32 years of age and must be fluent in English and / or French. Due to the need of the UN, the YPP test is conducted once a year in different directions.

The examination directions for 2020 are:

1) Management and administration;

2) Global communications;

3) Political relations and human rights.
