Please be informed that according to the Code of Environmental Assessment, the LEPL National Environment Agency is authorized to use the guidance document “On Environmental Impact Assessment” when making a decision.
The guidance document was developed in parallel with the preparation of the Environmental Assessment Code in 2017 and was not fully in line with the final, approved version of the Code.
Based on the above, with the financial support of the European Union, within the framework of the “EU4Environment” project, the Ministry is requested to update the textbook and bring it in line with the Code, as well as to clarify / add a number of issues.
Please send us your written comments and opinions on the draft (attached) to this guide by June 27, so that you can submit a joint position to the LEPL National Environment Agency.
